UWSD had the privilege of interviewing three brilliant students from Escondido High School, who shared their experiences participating in our afterschool STEAM-to-Careers healthcare program, in partnership with Escondido Education COMPACT. Through hands-on training such as first aid and CPR, these students learned valuable life-saving techniques that are applicable in a wide range of careers, even beyond the field of healthcare. STEAM-to-Careers students at Escondido High School will be graduating from the program next week on April 1st and 2nd, where they will receive certificates to commemorate their incredible achievement!
