Here’s what we have in store on Wednesday, April 2, at 180 Studios in London. ?? Confessional songwriting. Empowering attitude. Dynamic stage presence. When it comes to Jessie J, the descriptors are endless. UTA’s Head of Culture & Leadership Darnell Strom speaks to Grammy-nominated British singer-songwriter about her journey to becoming a globally recognized artist who seamlessly fuses pop, R&B, and soul. ?? UTA’s Head of EMEA Entertainment Marketing Sam Glynne will moderate a conversation with comedian and UTA client Celeste Barber, during which she’ll discuss how she built her 10 million-plus social media following and how brands can grow their own followings with more authentic content. ?? Curtis Brown Group Literary Agent Felicity Blunt will moderate a session about the incredible success of the TV adaptation of Jilly Cooper’s “Rivals,” and how nostalgia-fueled entertainment creates opportunities for brands to engage with larger audiences. Joining the panel: Actors Aidan Turner and Emily Atack, executive producer and writer Dominic Treadwell-Collins, and The Walt Disney Company’s Deborah Armstrong.

Multihyphenate Rebel Wilson has signed with UTA for representation. The actress, widely known for her characters in the “Pitch Perfect” franchise and “Jojo Rabbit,” made her directorial debut at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival with “The Deb.” The musical, co-written, and produced by Wilson, follows two teenage girls who attend a debutante ball in a small country town. Netflix’s crime drama “Adolescence” — co-created, executive produced, and written by UTA client Jack Thorne — is the streamer’s latest international hit. The U.K. series, which follows the family of a young boy accused of murder, reached 24.3 million views in its first four days of availability and most recently became the first streaming show to top the U.K.'s weekly TV ratings. Over two weeks, it has notched 66.3 million views — more than any other Netflix limited series has achieved over a 14-day period.

We’re excited to announce Dafne Keen has signed with UTA for representation. Keen made her big screen debut in “Logan,” starring opposite Hugh Jackman as X-23 in the 2017 Wolverine action film. UTA partnered with Dream Joy to host our annual Women’s History Month dinner in Atlanta, programmed in partnership with UTA WIG and La Femme Majeure, two employee groups dedicated to advancing and amplifying the success of women in entertainment.? ? This year’s theme: “Love & Legacy.” The event, held at the FORTH Hotel, brought together influential women from Atlanta’s music, entertainment, and brand communities and encouraged guests to strengthen their cross-industry connections through love and friendship. “In just four years, we’ve honored more than 100 women, helping create valuable connections and partnerships that enrich our community," says UTA Music Executive Dina Marto. 2025 event partners included Morgan Stanley, New Balance, and Mo?t Hennessy. Lauren Probyn Aouad (Executive, Entertainment Marketing), Greer Davis (Agent, Music), Garmai K. Momolu (Senior Manager, KLUTCH Football), recording artist and UTA Music client Annie Tracy, and sports analyst LaChina Robinson (a KLUTCH SPORTS GROUP, LLC client) were among those in attendance.

“Our U.K. Creator offering is an extension of the premium services we provide in the U.S, providing clients access to a vast global network and helping them scale their careers beyond local markets,” UTA Partner and Head of Digital Ali Berman tells The Hollywood Reporter. Led by Shelby Schenkman and Beth Heard, UTA’s U.K Creator practice recently signed three new exciting clients — podcaster and media personality Madame Joyce, “BookTuber” Jack Edwards, and journalist-broadcaster Lewis Goodall — who have a combined audience reach of more than five million across their social and broadcast channels. A forecast from marketing agency Digital Voices anticipates the global creator economy reaching $480 billion in value by 2027. Powered by UTA’s global platform, U.K. creators will have access to opportunities in digital and beyond, including live touring, publishing, and scripted and unscripted television. At this year’s London Book Fair, UTA joined Curtis Brown Group and C&W to host our annual soiree at LAVO at the BoTree Hotel in London. The trade fair is one of the busiest weeks in the publishing calendar and brings together executives and leaders from across the literary business, as well as TV and film executives who are on the hunt for the next hot adaptation. This year’s fair felt “as big as it’s ever been in my career,” said Byrd Leavell (Partner & Co-Head of Publishing). “There seems to be a renewed energy and excitement to escape into a great book and help shepherd its journey to screen,” added Jason Richman (Partner & Co-Head of Media Rights).
