Together, we’re building a world where every child has the chance to learn, dream, and succeed. Thank you for making a difference!

This past Friday marked a major step forward in our community's mission to reduce poverty in the Chattahoochee Valley by 50% over the next ten years. At the Columbus Public Library, we proudly announced Representative Teddy Reese as the leader of the newly established Office of Poverty Reduction, a bold initiative to drive change, align efforts, and create opportunities for all. This moment was made possible by the collaborative efforts of leaders across education, government, nonprofits, and business, all united by a shared goal: to make our community a better place for everyone. The event opened with inspiring words from Belva Dorsey-Mott of Enrichment Services Program and Ben Moser of United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley, followed by key remarks from Mayor Skip Henderson, Dean Calvin Smyre, and Minority Leader Carolyn Hughley. Together, we are building a future where prosperity is within reach for everyone. ?? We're all in!

Your generosity and dedication help create a stronger, more vibrant community where everyone can thrive. Through events like our annual Power of the Purse, which benefits the Women Helping Women Assistance Fund, we provide critical support to local women facing financial hardships. From networking and advocacy to hands-on service, Women United offers a meaningful way to connect, give back, and make a lasting impact.
