This year, I’ve had the honor of being a loaned executive with the United Way of Southern Maine and Chair of the board for one of WEX’s employee resource groups, Women of WEX. This event building holiday gifts for local single moms was a wonderful way to close out the year and see WEX and United Way in lockstep as community partners. I feel so energized to be around the kinds of people that want to give their neighbors a helping hand, and to work at a place that gives me these opportunities. A special thank you to Mackenzie Staropoli and Melissa Loerch Dudley for their determination and commitment that made this event such a success ????

Meet Our Volunteer: Ed ?? Ed has been a dedicated CA$H tax preparation volunteer since moving to Maine in 2007! "Doing tax preparation for lower-income Mainers is a way for me to give back to the community for all the blessings that the community has given me. In particular, my work helps to ensure that Mainers are able to take advantage of all the tax benefits that they are entitled to. And, the thanks that I get from the people I help is the icing on the cake for my volunteer experience." Thank you for your commitment to helping our neighbors in Southern Maine thrive. ????
