We are thrilled to announce Bill Crim, President and CEO of Utah’s Promise, as this year’s Henningsgaard Cradle to Career Champion Award winner! This award was presented at StriveTogether’s annual convening, and honors individuals who show exceptional leadership and dedication to ensuring every child has the support they need for economic mobility. In Bill’s acceptance speech, he said, “I believe deeply that the work being done by Promise Partnership Utah and the StriveTogether network can put every kid in our country on a path to economic mobility. Savage Team Members at the Service Support Center achieved 100% participation in support of United Way of Salt Lake for the 22nd consecutive year! This incredible milestone reflects our shared commitment to making a positive impact in the communities in which we work and live. Together, we raised over $42,000! With Savage's match, nearly $85,000 will go to United Way of Salt Lake. The Executive Leadership team hosted a longstanding tradition to celebrate, cooking steaks for Team Members. Thank you for making this year’s Day of Caring a huge success! This year 617 volunteers rolled up their sleeves to complete 3,179 hours of service across the Wasatch Front. That’s a monetary equivalent of approximately $106,464! Volunteers worked at food pantries, schools, early education centers, and parks on projects that included landscaping, painting, kit packing, and so much more! Heartwarming moments were made at The Children's Center Utah’s carnival, all thanks to the amazing efforts of Women United! With colorful face painting, playful balloon animals, refreshing snow cones, and so much more, families came together to create memories that will last a lifetime. A huge thank you to the dedicated members of Women United for bringing so much joy and laughter to the children and their families. Your compassion and hard work made this day unforgettable!

Select Health, one of our Day of Caring sponsors, held their project at Camp Kostopulos, an incredible summer camp offering recreational opportunities for people of all abilities since 1967. The group helped with trail maintenance, painting, weeding, and winterizing the camp, ensuring it's ready to welcome visitors for generations to come.

A huge thank you to the incredible team at Savage for their amazing support during this year's Day of Caring at Neighborhood House! With a large, dedicated group of volunteers, they rolled up their sleeves to focus on facilities maintenance and beautification, ensuring the space is in perfect shape for the upcoming fundraiser. Savage's ongoing commitment year after year makes a huge impact and we are grateful for their continued partnership, generosity, and strengthening our community.

On September 12, UTA staff participated in the United Way of Salt Lake's Day of Caring volunteer event. UTA's Salt Lake Service Unit put on a carnival for members of the Life Skills Vocational Center, many of which utilize the UTA system.
