United Way is the organization that actively identifies and addresses the needs in our community, ensuring that donations are effectively directed to where they are most needed. Even if you give just a dollar a week out of your paycheck, that small amount will have a significant impact. You may never know who your dollar is reaching, it could help a family member, a neighbor, or a colleague. Taking care of one another and ensuring everyone has an equal chance – that’s what makes United Way of Northwest Georgia so special and so important to Whitfield and Murray counties. A future where everyone thrives is possible. Visit our website and give today. United is the Way. https://lnkd.in/e5UXGPY

The Young Leaders Society, Lunch with Leaders - November Edition ???? What an honor it was to hear from Community Leaders - Chip Howalt, Owner and CEO of Textile Rubber and Chemical Company, and Bryan Macon, President and CEO of Dorsett Industries. We laughed together, shed a few tears, and walked away deeply inspired—motivated to grow and lead with our very best selves. ??

As we wrap up our Make a Difference Day highlights, we celebrate the philanthropic efforts of our next generation of leaders with United Way, The Young Leaders Society, and Youth United! Youth United participated in the 30th annual Conasauga River Watershed Clean-Up, removing trash from the Lakeshore Park location along the river and contributing to the environmental health of our community. ?? The Young Leaders Society installed a Born Learning Trail at Brookwood Park! With ten interactive signs available in both English and Spanish, the Trail invites young children and their families to engage in activities that nurture critical early learning skills. Whether counting, recognizing shapes, or playing simple games, each stop along the Trail turns an ordinary walk into a learning adventure. ?? We owe a special thanks to Michael Hendricks and his team with The Dalton Parks and Recreation Department for installing the posts and helping plan the location of the project.
