I’m happy to share that I’ve been accepted to the United Way of Central Oklahoma Board Serve Program! By the end of this program, I will become a member of the Board of Directors at a local nonprofit and will further serve the Oklahoma City community. Through Board Serve Central Oklahoma, United Way of Central Oklahoma is dedicated to improving nonprofit boards by recruiting, training, and matching board members with nonprofit agencies in the central Oklahoma Area.

I am happy to announce that I was accepted to the United Way of Central Oklahoma Board Serve program for 2025, Class VIII. We had our first meeting last Tuesday, to learn more about the program and what we can expect from it. I had the opportunity to catch up with Debby Hampton and was introduced to Rachel C. Holt, J.D., the new President and CEO of the United Way. I am excited about learning how to be a better Board Member and providing my skills to the United Way and their partner agencies. I am really looking forward to the next 8 months on this journey. I would also like to thank InterBank for sponsoring me and supporting me on this endeavor.
