Anthony J. Cotton, the Commander of USSTRATCOM, serves as the senior commander of unified military forces from all military branches assigned to the command. He is the leader, steward and advocate of the nation's strategic capabilities. USSTRATCOM integrates and coordinates the necessary command and control capability to provide support with the most accurate and timely information for the President, the Secretary of Defense, other national leadership and combatant commanders. AnnMarie Anthony, Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Center director at United States Strategic Command, sat for a fireside chat with Dr. Ling Yung, Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Force Education and Training (Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness), during an Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) workshop in Washington, D.C. Feb. 26, 2025. Maj. Gen. Anthony was a guest speaker and leadership panel moderator for the workshop, which aimed to address the need for more EMSO training in professional military education.
