The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has announced an additional $2.2 billion in award commitments for two Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs: the Gulf Coast Hydrogen Hub (HyVelocity Hub) and the Midwest Alliance for Clean Hydrogen Hub (MachH2). These hubs, part of President Biden's Investing in America agenda and funded through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, aim to accelerate clean hydrogen production and infrastructure. The Gulf Coast Hub will leverage Texas's renewable energy and natural gas, creating 45,000 jobs, while the Midwest Hub will drive industrial decarbonization in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Michigan, creating 12,000 jobs. These two hubs moving forward will drive the U.S. closer to its 2030 hydrogen production goals, significantly cutting emissions while generating tens of thousands of jobs across the nation. At the United States Hydrogen Alliance (USHA), we’re not just another trade association—we’re actively driving the legislative and infrastructure development that the hydrogen industry needs. As Jeff Holyoak, Vice President, Strategy, Market Development, and Operations at TOMCO Systems put it, "The differentiator between USHA and other trade associations is that it's not a trade association; it's an active legislative impact machine... helping to drive the infrastructure that's needed to build out the actual physical infrastructure of hydrogen." Join us to be part of a movement shaping the future of hydrogen beyond discussions—toward real, impactful change. https://lnkd.in/eCd3wk4D #ushydrogenalliance?#hydrogen?#cleanhydrogen?#hydrogennow?#hydrogeneconomy?#hydrogenhubs?#fuelcell?#zeroemission?#energy?#cleanenergy?#decarbonization?#sustainability
