UPAF was happy to be a part of a Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration yesterday hosted by BMO Latino Alliance and Milwaukee Bucks Inc. Unidos at GATHER at Deer District. This evening featured a reading by local artist Nicole Acosta from The HOOPS Project and a panel discussion from Latina professionals on their paths to success and leadership. Studio K Flamenco provided exceptional entertainment as guests enjoyed vendors from the Mercadera Market.

One of the most exciting projects we undertake as an agency is designing the United Performing Arts Fund's annual Ride for the Arts poster. This year, we wanted to create a design that was simple, whimsical, and dynamic—drawing inspiration from classic French racing posters. Our performing arts sector had a fantastic showing at the 2024 BizTimes Media Nonprofit Excellence Awards! Congratulations to Chad Bauman of the Milwaukee Rep for being named Nonprofit Executive of the Year and Milwaukee Ballet received Large Nonprofit of the Year. Philanthropists?Donald and Donna Baumgartner?received the?2024 Lifetime Achievement Award?for their major contributions to the arts in Milwaukee.
