UBCF is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. We have anchored our efforts in breast & whole-body health, prevention, early detection and assisting women, men & families managing breast cancer right now. Founded in October 2000, the United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit that began as a small grassroots organization serving low-income, under and non-insured women and men in New York State. UBCF is headquartered in Huntington Station, NY. We serve women, men and their families across the country. UBCF provides the community seven unique, life-supporting patient and family programs: Breast Screening, Individual Grant, Breast Reconstruction, Audrey B. Mastroianni College Scholarship, Holistic Care, Child Sponsorship and the Community Service Program. UBCF’s mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. UBCF is supported by a dedicated Board of Directors and staff, providing our clients with excellent service, compassion and care throughout their entire experience with us.

    To answer the call from the White House to end the pandemic, Good360 is working with Gap Inc. to distribute the company’s donation of 3.5 million masks and face coverings across our national nonprofit network, ensuring these essential protective items go to those with the greatest need. Our nonprofit members work directly within their communities to support and empower a wide range of causes; and thanks to our members including Save the Children US, United Breast Cancer Foundation, and Arkansas Early Learning, Inc., these masks will be distributed to underserved communities impacted by the pandemic and those most vulnerable to the virus. https://lnkd.in/e4AucJf

    ? A Star-Studded Evening of Hope ? Nearly two weeks ago, the United Breast Cancer Foundation hosted its inaugural Holiday of Hope Premiere Gala, and we’re still reeling from the magic of that unforgettable evening. The event was a celebration of resilience, love, and the incredible strength of our community. The gala honored 27 courageous breast cancer survivors. Survivor stories were at the heart of the night, with one attendee sharing: "The challenges of breast cancer tested me in every way, but the love, support, and kindness I’ve received from UBCF has given me hope and strength. This event is proof that we’re never alone." One of the most moving moments was the presentation of the Lauren Brohm Legacy Award to her husband, Kevin Brohm, and their children, Ella and Benjamin. Stephanie Mastroianni, UBCF’s Executive Director, reminded us all: "This award is a testament to Lauren’s enduring spirit and the courage her family continues to demonstrate in her memory." From the glamour of the Pink Carpet to the inspiring speeches and thrilling silent auction, the gala wasn’t just an event—it was a movement of love, community, and empowerment. ??     ? Friday Inspiration: United Breast Cancer Foundation’s Holiday of Hope Premiere Gala – A Night of Giving and Gratitude ? This past Saturday in Great Neck, New York, UBCF hosted the Holiday of Hope Premiere Gala. Supporters, friends, celebrities, and cherished clients gathered together for an unforgettable evening filled with love and support for those affected by breast cancer. UBCF Sponsored patients and survivors traveled from near and far to enjoy a day of pampering, including complimentary hair and makeup services and a chance to shop and keep gala-worthy dresses. Among those in attendance was Lorraine Nicolosi, a two-time breast cancer survivor and long-time UBCF client, who expressed her heartfelt gratitude: “Thank you! Thank you! to all of you and the UBCF Foundation for allowing myself and my family to attend the first Holiday of Hope Gala. My heart is so full today with gratitude and so much appreciation… There was such a wonderful feeling in the room, and I was able to meet so many incredible people. I will forever be grateful for the amazing family I have in UBCF and for all that you do and have done for me. Thank you again for allowing me the opportunity to attend this spectacular gala. It was a true blessing to our family. God bless you all! xoxo With Love & Gratitude.” Inspiration in Action: ?? The strength of survivors like Lorraine reminds us to stay hopeful and grateful. ?? Lorraine’s daughter, Brianna who benefited from UBCF’s support over the years, joined friends from her cosmetology program to give back by providing a complimenatry Glam Session for UBCF’s clients. Together, they pampered breast cancer patients and survivors, offering hair and makeup services. ?? UBCF’s incredible community proves that love and support can change lives.   • ?? Friday Inspiration: Brooke's Story ?? Meet Brooke R., a 57-year-old woman from Texas who, due to being uninsured, had gone three years without a breast screening. With a family history of breast cancer, she knew the importance of early detection—but the cost was a barrier. Then, one day while shopping at Walmart, she learned about the UBCF Breast Screening Program. After applying for a simple grant, Brooke was approved and was able to get the screening she desperately needed. "I hadn’t had a screening in three years. I’m so grateful for this program!" — Brooke R. Thanks to UBCF, women like Brooke are breaking down barriers to essential healthcare. Regular screenings save lives—and with the help of our Breast Screening Grant Program, women in need are getting the care they deserve. ??
