Excited to participate in our first National Roofing Day in DC helping elevate the voices of our industry.
Yesterday was quite a day! Learned so much about how things work on The Hill. Each meeting was different depending on the portfolio the staffer or congress member was assigned… our focuses were on Trade School funding, R&D Tax credits and Immigration Reform…. My agenda included meetings with Reps Self and Williams and Senators Cronyn and Cruz - all from Texas, all pretty positive. The biggest surprise for me was the amount of people with their own agendas roaming the halls - everyone hoping to make their voices heard…. It was hopeful. 🇺🇸 👏🏼 #RoofingDayinDC
