Today #UAFA joined with 39 other organizations to push the 118th Congress to pass vetted legislation in line with the Wildland Fire Mitigation and Management Commission recommendations in the lame duck session. Many of the actions, if passed, could be used to reduce our risk of catastrophic wildfires NEXT year! Our Annual Members Meeting concluded with a strong partnership between National Wildfire Suppression Association and United Aerial Firefighters Association (UAFA). We are expecting almost 180 attendees which is over 50% more than last year and reflective of the fact we have surpassed 100 members in less than two years as an organization!
