?? Exciting News at Unitech! We are thrilled to announce that Christine Payton has joined our team as our new Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations. With more than 25 years of experience in communications, strategic marketing, and storytelling, Christine brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to Unitech. Most recently, Christine served as a Research Communications Specialist at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she played a pivotal role in the university’s recognition as a Carnegie R1 Research University. She was also instrumental in launching their Research for a Reason e-newsletter. Prior to that, Christine spent a decade at South Louisiana Community College, where she led multi-campus branding efforts, developed award-winning content, and managed media relations and crisis communications. Christine’s impressive career includes numerous accolades, such as the National Communicator of the Year Award from the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations and multiple Paragon and Medallion Awards. A graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, she has continued her professional development through programs like the Yale School of Management’s Digital Marketing Executive Program. ??
