Last night's council meeting congratulates the graduates of Citizens Academy. Throughout the Academy, participants engaged in enlightening discussions and activities led by department leaders, City management, and elected officials. The diverse curriculum covered crucial facets of City government, including Public Safety and Code Enforcement, Court Services, Fire Safety and prevention, Community and Economic Development, Public Services, Parks and Recreation, and City Administration. Attending the Citizen's Academy is more than an accomplishment; it's an excellent opportunity for UC residents to connect with and comprehend the dynamic environment in which they live, work, play, and stay.
