Many of our team volunteered their afternoon at the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank where we packed 2,160 bags (10 pallets) worth of food for the PowerPak 4 Kids Back Pack Program, which provides nutritious and easy to prepare weekend foods for children in need. One in four children in our community are food insecure. Many of these children, eat breakfast and lunch at their schools, but the problem arises on the weekends and during summer break when they do not have enough to eat. We are grateful to give back and help support such impactful organizations like the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank.

Wichita Falls is fortunate to have a passionate Chamber of Commerce that continually connects, challenges, and educates individuals and organizations alike. It's inspiring to see the work being done across the region and the opportunities ahead. We are grateful to do our part to keep the momentum moving forward.

Over the past two days, over 100 leaders from all across the area came together to work on a huge project… seeking to identify and layout the collective values of the Wichita Falls area community. It was organized by the Wichita Falls Chamber, hosted by Midwestern State University Midwestern State University, and was facilitated by leadership of Texas Tech University. We learned a lot, are grateful to have participated, and look forward to sharing with you all more about this project in the months to come!
