#UCPS is pleased to announce that the Board of Education has approved the proposal to expand the Agrotechnology (AgTech) program to the Piedmont Cluster schools and Marshville Elementary School, starting in the fall of 2025. This significant expansion will allow more students to gain valuable skills in the growing field of agricultural technology and align with the district’s educational offerings to prepare students for college and/or the workforce. #UCPS offers students a unique opportunity to explore and engage in the fast-growing field of sustainable energy through the Sustainable Energy Academy. On Nov. 13, students from Parkwood Middle School were recognized as Sustainable Energy Ambassadors for the first time during a special ceremony at Parkwood High School. 94 students from different school clubs, such as Future Farmers of America (FFA), Environmental Club, and Robotics Club, became ambassadors!
