Patrick and Haley had a fantastic Wednesday afternoon with the Try Pie team, leading their August workshop!?? Together, they explored the Business Model Canvas and learned the importance of understanding a business's value proposition. Following the lesson, we combined the everyday object activity with the Business Model Canvas to brainstorm and create new innovative products!

Thankful for those who continuously believe in the work our students are doing, and for always giving back to their roots. Our deepest gratitude, Gary & Patsy.
“I always tell my wife that we wouldn’t be in this financial position of strength without UNI. With what I learned and accomplished at UNI, it led me to John Deere, it led me to J-TEC, the MBA I received. So it’s a case where I felt the need to pay it back,” said Gary Roling.

Maddie, owner of Moo’s Bakery, is setting up her first physical storefront to meet the growing demand for her 100% plant-based goodies. We couldn't be prouder of Maddie as she continues to pursue her business dreams.
A familiar face is coming to College Hill. UNI John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center alum, Maddie Palmersheim, plans to open a location on College Hill for her business Moo’s Bakery.
