Sodium ion for EVs are coming! We are thankful for the Vehicle Technologies Office (VTO)'s recent award as part of the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. The grant will allow us to develop advanced sodium ion batteries with energy densities higher than conventional LFP for electric mobility, eliminating reliance on critical materials used in electric vehicles, while achieving greater range with cost effective materials.
