From those that have had to close, peoples life savings and securities lost or at risk, families broken by the financial challenges faced and people suffering from mental health! I am seriously worried about our industry! But I am also angry, frustrated at people suggesting that the industry is thriving! Its not.. The predominance of our industry is in crisis! Yes there are glimmers of hope amongst the challenges, but the majority are struggling to survive! I am asking those who are doing well, to put your position aside and support each other! Consider the support needed from Government, and the message you are portraying publicly and its impacts on Government decisions, there are more than shareholders at risk here! Please can I ask everyone to make sure we check on each other within your networks.. and to those out there who support us.. please continue to do so and encourage colleagues friend and families to do the same!"
