We are thrilled to share the monumental outcomes of the World Without Hunger Conference, a landmark event organized by UNIDO, the Government of Ethiopia, and the African Union Commission, with FAO's technical support from November 5th to 7th in 2024. This three-day gathering was a beacon of hope, bringing together 1,500 stakeholders from nearly 100 countries to promote sustainable agribusiness projects and technologies to fight against hunger and malnutrition, the most vital challenges facing humanity. ?? A side event focusing on the theme "Bridging Technology and Investment: The ITP Network's Approach" was organized by UNIDO ITP Network, at which 10 ITPO offices from eight countries joined forces to set up the booth showcasing the key role in scaling up technological innovations to end hunger through global investment. ?? WiiTs Initiative ?? During the side event, Head?of UNIDO ITPO Shanghai, Ms. Xiaolei Zhao proposed that "Technology and investment are not isolated forces but complementary drivers of innovation and transformation.?With a commitment to creating industrial technology innovation and fostering an international cooperation ecosystem, this belief led to our initiative—the World Industrial & Innovative Technology Cooperation (WiiTs).” ??
