It is a privilege to be recognised as INSEAD’s INSEADER of the year 2024 for Italy. My experiences as an alumnus of INSEAD set me on my career path in finance, and helped to bring me to where I am today, as CEO of pan-European banking group UniCredit. ? I have always believed in the transformative power of education. Education is not just about what you learn – it is about how you grow as a person. It is essential that young people are able to experience this personal growth, so they can take ownership of their roles as future leaders and support the growth of the communities that nurtured them. ? This is why I am committed to using my platform as CEO of UniCredit to promote educational opportunities across Europe, through our bank’s philanthropic arm, the UniCredit Foundation.

?? UniCredit has successfully issued a EUR 1 billion floating rate Senior Preferred Bond with 4 years maturity, callable after 3 years, targeted to institutional investors. ? The book building process gathered demand of more than EUR 2.3 billion from over 135 institutional investors globally. ? The transaction allows UniCredit to pre-fund next year's MREL Funding Plan, confirming once more fixed income investors' appreciation and its broad market access in different formats. ??
