RECORD BREAKING SALE: The 2022 6 Liter Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned Copper 1982 Bourbon sold for a total of $153,932.25 after all taxes and fees, making it the highest-priced, (post-prohibition) bourbon bottle sold at auction. This O.F.C. 1982 is one of five massive bottles auctioned through BlockBar in 2022. Each bottle was sold and associated with a non-fungible token (NFT); winners could then redeem their token for an actual bottle when they decided to collect. The proceeds from the BlockBar event benefitted a selection of Buffalo Trace charity partnerships. The whiskey for this release was distilled in 1982, aged 19 years in oak, then placed into stainless steel holding tanks for 21 years before ultimately being bottled in 2022. #recordbreaking?#RecordBreakingSale?#bourbonporn?#bourboncollection
