“Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean someone has the right to abuse me,” says Adama, a 20-year-old UNICEF Youth Advocate from Senegal. In a country where 15,000 girls experience sexual violence every year, Adama is on a mission to put an end to it. She’s been a fierce advocate for girls’ rights since she was 12, raising awareness on violence, early marriage and pregnancy, and empowering young girls to stand up for themselves. Today, Adama is breaking the silence that keeps victims in the shadows. Through radio programmes, school campaigns and local support networks, she’s helping every girl reclaim her right to safety and her future. More power to you, Adama! #GirlGoals
