The importance of clear communication is a key component to the success of a project…. We are working out of town and needed to rent a lift to access some high work. Ordered the equipment and gave the address on the drawings to dispatch. Explained that it is a new large precast building and the unit is on the northeast corner of the building. Received confirmation that the lift was onsite at 7 am. Our team couldn’t locate the unit and after driving around the property, noticed the lift across the street…in a neighbors driveway. I am ultimately responsible for not giving clearer directions, but I wonder if….just for a moment…he thought he might be in the wrong spot? #communication #funny #logistics #outoftownwork.
