I have an exciting announcement for law students and legal professionals interested in entertainment law! This Saturday, October 5th, 2024, UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law is hosting a conference to discuss the intricacies and nuances of "Practicing Entertainment Law: Diverse Pathways & Realistic Careers." The event will be offered both in-person and via live webinar.
Whether you're a law student, a new lawyer, or a seasoned professional looking to diversify into entertainment law, this conference is designed to demystify the idea of practicing entertainment law in non-traditional fashions/outside major urban centers and to explore supplementary legal areas to enhance career prospects. Our speakers are experienced, passionate professionals who have all forged their own paths in entertainment law (and their own definitions for what "entertainment law" means).
Several UNH Franklin Pierce departments, organizations, and individuals are hard at work collaborating on this wonderful opportunity, including Professor Michael McCann and the Sports & Entertainment Law Institute, Nicole Sterste / Riley Albert and the UNH Sports & Entertainment Law Society (SELS), Professor Peter Karol and the Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property, Dean Neil Sirota and the Career Services Office, Professor Ross Krutsinger, Kendall Zonghi, the Student Intellectual Property Law Association, the Student Bar Association, Julia Burke and the Women's Law Student Association, and Moira Sullivan and Masters of the Trade(marks) (among many others).
Thank you to our generous sponsor, Melick & Porter, LLP!
