Understand that everyone has a story to tell. This is how we run our restaurants. We're always learning.
关于我们
Our mission statement says it all: Underbelly is no longer a restaurant- for us it is a way of life. Explore your surroundings, learn about people, where they’re from, and how to dine at the same table. Learn from anyone regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, age, or gender. Understand that everyone has a story to tell. This is how we run our restaurants. We are a dynamic team of talented people that will (and already have!) innovate the way the world views Houston restaurants and our vibrant community. Bridging the gap between our local neighborhoods and the dining world by showcasing Houston’s colorful diversity and flavors. Our commitment to the satisfaction of every guest through product knowledge and service excellence will be the foundation that pushes us to the next level. The locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, interesting wines from family owned growers, and a thoughtful cocktail and spirits program along with the warm and inviting ambience, will get our guest in. However, it is the service and experience we provide that will have them returning time and again. We believe that mistakes and that’s ok! We don’t learn from doing it right every time. We become great by learning from our mistakes! We believe that these ARE the good old days. We embrace where we are in our journey with food and beverage. We are always learning!

Two hospitality powerhouses our President, Nina Quincy, and our wine director, Sarah Dowling, got to dish with food editor from Cumture Map, Eric Sandler. Yes, Nina really does love the McRib THAT much. We don’t yuck anybody’s yum… but we do laugh when she has them delivered to our steakhouse (Georgia James) for her dinner.
Such a pleasure getting to chat with Eric Sandler, food editor for CultureMap Houston on his podcast “What’s Eric Eating”. We talked McRibs, the state of the union at Underbelly Hospitality, and what’s next for us. He didn’t pull punches and asked all the questions the foodies of Texas want to ask. Here’s a link to the article and a link to the podcast within. I hope you give it a listen! https://lnkd.in/gb7PEg83

Happy International Women’s Day! ????♀? While they deserve to be celebrated every day, today we’re showing a little extra love to the badass ladies of Underbelly! Their dedication, precision, and creativity help fuel the success of Underbelly and it never fails to inspire us. Don’t forget to high-five, thank or tell them how much they rock when you come in to eat with us! ?? #InternationalWomensDay

Our President, Nina Quincy, was recognized by the Houston Business Journal in their Texas 100 list. We feel pretty cool because we get to hangout with her. Just kidding, she’s kind of a nerd… but we like that about her! We need to get back to work now because conquering 2024 started 9 days ago. We are busy!
Wow wow wow! I'm thrilled to share that I have been recognized by the Houston Business Journal in the Texas 100 list. It's an incredible honor to be included among such esteemed professionals and people I respect. Over the past few years, Underbelly Hospitality has undergone significant changes and I'm proud to have been at the helm of the company during this transition. Thank you for the recognition, I am incredibly proud of our company and none of this would possible without the best team in the business! #underbellyhospitality #texas100

Wow, what a year it’s been. 3 new restaurants, 1 relocation, 1 closure, our first out of state location (hello @j9winebar??), 6 concepts at 6 locations and we’re nothing but grateful for our incredibly loyal guests and our insanely talented team of chefs, managers, FOH, BOH, runners, bussers… EVERYONE who makes this company kick ass all year! ?? Next year is full of promise. Cheers to more baller boards, al pastor tacos, chicken fried steak, double patty burgers, carajillos, martinis, oysters, truffled Cacio e pepe, sidewinder fries, caviar, seafood towers, jazz nights, murder mysteries, wine dinners, wine flights, rooftop hangouts, kids eat free, milkshakes and of course: seeing you! We love you, we couldn’t do it without y’all. Thanks for making our year. Have a happy and safe New Year’s Eve… ON TO THE NEXT! 2??0??2??4??
