This week we are featuring Incredible Intern, Madison Dame, from Rapid City, SD. She is a Communication and Journalism major and is expected to graduate in December 2025. Madison is involved in the Communication Club and is the Vice President for her sorority, Pi Beta Phi. Madison is currently interning at UND Today, assisting with interviews and photography, and she recently just got her first story published. “My favorite part of the UND Communication Department is how engaged the faculty are and how realistic their assignments are. Everything seems to have a real-world experience embedded in it, which has been very beneficial for me,” Madison shared. “The most memorable project I have done so far was interviewing Lauren Shehadi from the MLB Network for my Sports Communication class. It was very nerve-wracking at first, but it was a really good experience and was not scary at all once I started the interview.” #UNDcomm #UNDproud #UNDIncredibleIntern #UNDCommunciationCorner
