I spent the last two days in New York City attending @RSVPClubOfficial symposium and gala. It was an amazing two days of making new friendships that will turn into colleagues, and that is a nice direction for business. I have always been leery of investing marketing capital into what appears to be a “party”. But it was truly one of the smartest marketing decisions I’ve ever made. Joining @RSVPClubOfficial was the right choice. James Lord Grace Newey Natalie K. are the most welcoming bunch of Brits and made me feel individually important in a crowd of 400. They truly care about every member and take the time to invest in knowing you. Many times as a small business owner, you have to take a leap of faith. One of my favorite quotes of the series was “Let’s stop competing with each other and start completing each other”. (thank you @chrisjevansphoto for that!)

Spending some work and a little play time in London catching up with my colleagues across the pond Adam Sternberg, Xander Casey and Samantha Rika, catching up on all the new things in London (there is so much construction, it’s quite stunning!) and potential events with Uncommon Events, Inc. in the states. It’s always great to enjoy a coffee, lunch or just a chat with colleagues you admire because they have helped make your event amazing. #TeamWork

Reflecting on my journey as a sole entrepreneur over the past 25 years, I find myself using the word “honor” more than ever. It truly is a privilege to remain relevant and continue making a positive impact doing good work in my field. I am especially grateful for the opportunity to support those who have started their careers alongside me. Witnessing their growth and success as they embrace their unique talents has been a profoundly humbling experience. It has been my honor.

I am truly honored to be featured in the September issue of @PhiladelphiaStyle, highlighting a stunning wedding we produced last February. Receiving recognition for our hard work in our home community is incredibly rewarding. As I celebrate 25 years of Uncommon Events, Inc. , this kind of acknowledgment continues to inspire and motivate me. Thank you Alana Tosti for the nod.

Some fruits and vegetables for an all Vegetarian event -YES please! Thank you to @JewelzEntertainment for the “Salad Lady” who greeted the guests at the Summer Soirée event and set the mood for fun! 600 guests from the hospitality world enjoyed the evening of networking. #Success

I loved reading D. Channing Muller post about The Scout Guide. Her reference to entrepreneurship and marathons being the same kind of hard is so true. Owning a business is a “marathon not a sprint”. Being a part of the The Scout Guide family, as I am with @LaurieWightman at the helm in this local area, has been a wonderful experience. I have met new entrepreneurs who share my vision of success. We work to lift each other and be collaborative. #collaboration #entrepreneurship
