On Tuesday, February 18th, we had our annual HESA Auction! We had an incredible turnout of HESA members, including UNC MHA students and executives from across the healthcare field, as well as attendees from Gillings, alumni, and THEF who participated in our silent and live auction A huge thank you to the auction committee, Meera Panikar and Shauna Galvin for planning such an amazing event, and to everyone who came out to support. Last night, Thursday April 11th, was a successful 28th annual HESA-THEF dinner! Students found the panel discussion on Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare enlightening and engaging. Thank you to Rachini Moosavi, the panelists Bryan Vaughn Neal Chawla and Amanda Barefoot for sharing your insightful perspectives from your current organizations. Students were able to network with the many NC healthcare professionals who attended. UNC Chapel Hill Healthcare Executives Student Association is extremely grateful for the continued support and partnership from the Triangle Healthcare Executives' Forum of NC Special thanks to Justin Dodds, Brock Buirley, Michael T. Attendees had a wonderful time at ACHE Congress 2024 in Chicago this past week! The multitude of educational sessions and networking opportunities brought a wealth of knowledge to us as future healthcare leaders. Students were able to connect and network with healthcare leaders and other students from all across the country. HESA Executive Board members President Cecilia Yu, Convention Chair Shreya Ramnath, VP of Business Development Justin Dodds, Director of Finance Michael T. Jensen, Director of Business Development Brock Buirley, and Director of Professional Development Selena Bahta did a fantastic job representing HESA. Special thanks to Jeffrey Simms and Shreya Ramnath for coordinating the experience and UNC Alumni Networking.
