Historic flooding in Western North Carolina poses additional health risks beyond the initial widespread devastation and damage from Hurricane Helene. Infectious disease expert Dr. David Weber spoke with WRAL to share this advice.

Some UNC Health Urgent Care practices in Western NC have reopened following extreme weather in the region. Following the extreme weather, flooding and power outages caused by Hurricane Helene, some UNC Health urgent care practices in western North Carolina have reopened and are seeing patients.
