I recently had an opportunity to do something outside my comfort zone – record a podcast! And this wasn’t just any podcast – it was with the one and only Andy Roark for his Uncharted Veterinary Conference podcast. Not only did we have a lot of fun, but we also talked about some pretty important stuff related to selling a veterinary practice. As an entrepreneur myself and one of the three co-founders of Blue River PetCare, I know what it means to build something from the ground up. That entrepreneurial spirit and pride is something I humbly share with practice owners who have worked so hard to build their own hospitals and become pillars of their communities. My conversation with Andy takes a deep dive into the nuances of selling a practice and the commonly overlooked things to look for to ensure your practice will be in the very best of hands.
