Due to ongoing construction, the main entrance to Nash General Hospital has relocated, which means patient and visitor parking has moved as well. ?? Where should you park now? Instead of turning towards the tall hospital tower, keep going a little further until you arrive at the lower-level of the parking deck. You’ll find two convenient entrances to the deck: ?? The first entrance is across from the Bryant T. Aldridge Rehabilitation Center. ?? The second is just before the Nash Women’s Center. Check out the photos below to help guide you to the right spot. Pro tip: turn in to either of these deck entrances and park as close to the patient drop-off/pick-up zone as possible—that will place you the closest to the new, main lobby entrance to the hospital. Important UNC Health Nash update: starting TODAY changes to traffic flow, parking, and hospital access may impact your next visit to UNC Health Nash. Beginning TODAY, due to construction efforts on our new hospital tower, the main entrance to Nash General Hospital has closed. During the duration of construction, a temporary entrance has opened adjacent to the Nash Women’s Center, with clear signage and traffic support to guide you. Here’s what to know: ?? Traffic: The upper-level of the parking deck has become reserved for construction-only, and Nash General Hospital patient and visitor parking has moved to the lower-level. (Please reference the red arrows on the map attached to this post for directions to lower-level parking from Winstead Ave.) ?? Parking: Please use the lower level of the parking deck for all Nash General Hospital patient/visitor parking, drop-off, and pickup. Our latest session, "Elevate Your Heart IQ," led by Meredith Hayes, RN, and Tera Joyner, RN, was an incredible blend of education, humor, and practical lifesaving knowledge. Attendees gained a deeper understanding of heart health, learning how to recognize signs of heart disease, heart attacks, and other cardiac conditions. Hayes and Joyner made complex medical topics easy to grasp, offering real-world examples and expert advice to help participants take charge of their well-being. Plus, hands-on CPR and AED training gave everyone the confidence to act in an emergency. ???? This session proved once again that the POP Health Series is more than just a lecture—it’s an empowering experience that makes health education both engaging and actionable. Beginning March 17, UNC Health Nash will enter a critical phase of our new tower construction. As part of this next step, there will be important changes to hospital access, parking, and traffic flow on our campus. ??
