Dining on campus goes beyond enjoying great food—it’s also an opportunity to develop valuable culinary skills. Executive Chef Mitchell Wilkins alongside Sous Chef Jamal Johnson, hosted the first Cooking Workshop of 2025, where participants learned how to prepare a delicious Bang Bang Taco recipe. In addition to the hands-on cooking experience, they shared expert insights on handling essential kitchen tools with confidence. We are excited to continue hosting these workshops monthly and look forward to offering more opportunities for culinary learning! At UNC Dining Services, the safety of our students and team members is our top priority. The #GoodVibeFoodDrive has officially concluded, and we extend our sincere gratitude to students and staff for their generous donations in support of our fellow bears. Yesterday, we had the privilege of meeting with the UNC food bank on campus, The Bear Pantry, to donate the food collected during the drive.
