I spoke at B2BMX last week with UnboundB2B and saw ONE BIG problem with what the idea that MQLs = Pipeline. For years, marketers have been chasing MQLs as the ultimate KPI. I was definitely one of these leaders for 15+ years of my career! But how many of those leads actually convert into revenue? The reality: ? MQLs ≠ pipeline. ? High lead volume doesn’t mean high deal value. What works instead? Revenue-driven marketing: Focus on pipeline impact, sales velocity, and customer LTV. Intent-based outreach: Target accounts that are actively researching solutions, not just downloading an ebook. Takeaway: Shift from MQL obsession to revenue alignment. Teams have to evolve their frameworks. If I could send an emergency alert SMS to all marketers I would...but then again, is that just focusing on MQLs? ?? #RevenueMarketing #B2BSales #GrowthStrategy
