Unbound partners with families around the world who are building their paths out of poverty through one-to-one sponsorship. According to Jonathan, "Sponsorship, to me, is being a witness to God's love in this world." ?? You too can be a witness to God's love through sponsorship. How far do you have to walk to get clean water? For many Unbound families, carrying water is still a daily task filled with risk, exhaustion and time lost from school or work. Mothers in one community Guatemala decided to act. Through Unbound's Agents of Change grants, they led an initiative that brought safe, nearby water access to 500 families. They created a plan, gathered support and built a water system that serves their entire community. ?? You can help more communities take the lead on the solutions they need most. ?? A slippery, muddy pathway once made daily life dangerous for over 100 families in Juana’s community. At 77 years old, she refused to let age be a barrier to change. ?? With support from Unbound’s Agents of Change grant, she led an elder group who developed a plan to pave the path, making it safer for students and elders alike. “We are also proud because despite of our age as elderly, we can still contribute to our community and help other people. We can still do more.” ?? There are countless leaders like Juana around the world, ready to transform their communities but needing support to make it happen. ?? ?? Sponsoring a child through Unbound ensures that she can access education, but what if the neighborhood school lacks books, desks and other learning materials? Sponsorship of children helps parents start and expand small businesses, but what if the only route to the local market where they sell their products crosses a crumbling and unsafe bridge? Unbound's Agents of Change platform gives parent groups a place to determine their community's greatest need, submit a proposal for a small grant to address it, and then put their plan into action... and it's all funded thanks to the support of people like you. From Africa to Asia to Latin America, groups are waiting for funds provided through Agents of Change grants to install electricity, construct roads, repair schools, provide water purifiers and improve restrooms. Help make their progress possible at Unbound.org/AgentsofChange today!

?? Unbound President and CEO, Ashley Hufft, is spending time in India visiting Unbound communities and seeing the impact of Agents of Change initiatives in action. ?? ?? One stop was a health center that had been dealing with the absence of a toilet and sink. Without them, patients had to leave the clinic or bring samples from home just to complete testing. ?? Three local groups came together in an Agents of Change initiative to build two new toilets and sinks, bringing dignity and better healthcare access to their community. Now, the women who led this effort are recognized as changemakers. ?? Check out Agent of Change initiatives around the world you can support: https://lnkd.in/gjFYegAM
