Congress will likely address #telehealth policy in the remaining weeks of its term, because Medicare payment policies enacted during the pandemic will expire December 31. One of the lingering questions about virtual care: Whether using it also drives up the use of low-value tests and scans, and therefore unneeded costs. A new study from our team suggests the answer is no.
