"Where Ambition Meets Opportunity" was the theme of the 2025 UMD Sales Summit, which took place Feb. 27 in UMD's Kirby Ballroom.
Judging by the sheer amount of UMD students who attended the job fairs and speakers - there's ZERO shortage of ambition here in Duluth.
The Sales Summit, which was planned by the members of the UMD Sales Club, featured 2 keynote speakers, a 5-person lunch panel...
...and a career fair in between it all of that, which featured 19 different potential employers.
The best part was seeing students from all over campus - not just LSBE students - stop by and connect with recruiters and listen to the speakers.
HUGE thanks to everyone who showed up, but especially the Sales Summit planning committee: Sales Summit President Tristan Bock, Sales Club President Owen Lund, Outreach VP Alison Zander, Business Strategy & Operation VP John Marquette, Marketing VP Ryan Anderson, Company Relations VP Ashton Sivilay, Volunteer Coordinator Breanna Storlie, Company Relations VP Sydney Breyen (Sydney also did an AMAZING job as moderator!), Finance Chair Christian Dietz, and Professional Sales Director Jessica Gardner!
An even BIGGER thanks to keynote speakers Bill Drazkowski and Jenna Johnson, CLF?, ACC; panelists Harley Ries, Todd Thiewes, Russell Tanner, Cooper Kapanke, and Johnny Peltz, and the 19 different companies who came to talk with our students. We VERY MUCH appreciate all of you.
See you all at the next UMD Sales Summit in 2026!
