Our teammates from The Shores had such a great time taking part in the recent Shore Medical Center event, "Be Well Connected Education Series: Alzheimer's disease and related disorders." It was so cool to be able to connect with other industry professionals and hear their unique insights and perspectives on a topic near and dear to our hearts. We were also excited to showcase our Tapestries Memory Care SafelyYou program and the impact AI-driven solutions have made at The Shores, specifically with safety and fall detection. It is always so wonderful to be around so many people who are as passionate about memory support and education as we are. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello! ??

FRIENDSGIVING FUN ?? The Shores recently held a very special event in honor and appreciation of our dedicated community partners from the surrounding area. It was truly wonderful to enjoy a DELICIOUS meal and connect with so many of the individuals who have made such a positive impact on our residents and teammates. We are so grateful for these incredible partnerships and all of the continued support of our #UMCFamily!

Two of our SUPERSTAR leaders from our Collingswood Manor community, Tamara Moreland (Executive Director) and Angela Imperiale (Dir. Sales & Marketing) joined UMC's Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing, Jacquie Miller, for an AMAZING night at the 2024 Best of SJ Mag Media Party! We always enjoy getting the opportunity to network and connect with so many wonderful and hard-working professionals who call South Jersey home. It was especially cool to have the chance to meet Eagles legend Jeremiah Trotter Sr. and his son (and current Eagles linebacker) Jeremiah Trotter Jr.! Thanks for having us, SJ Mag. It is such a great privilege to participate in these events and support our community. We can't wait for the next one! ??

Some of our teammates from Pitman Manor took part in an entertaining Halloween costume contest yesterday, as part of our community-wide celebration! It was so much fun for our residents to see some of these SPOOKTACULAR outfits on display. Everyone enjoyed the festivities, which included fun party games and tasty treats. It was a HOWLIN' good time! Congrats to the winners from our AL Nursing team, whose costumes gave a nod to nurses from another era! ??

Who's hungry? ??? Three members of UMC's Senior Leadership team, President & CEO Mark Lenhard, Senior VP for People & Culture Dave Glenn, and Chief Financial Officer Bob Peterson, paid a special visit to Pitman Manor earlier this month for our latest edition of #FoodForThought! Mark, Dave, and Bob prepared a spectacular meal for all who joined us and dedicated some time to connecting with teammates throughout the community about all things UMC, life, and more. Everything was DELICIOUS! ??????

The Shores in Ocean City recently hosted an "End of Summer BBQ" for all of their incredible teammates and it was a BLAST! These hard-working individuals were treated to some cookout favorites like burgers, hot dogs, chips, and popcorn, in what was a fun and festive environment throughout our community all day long. Oh, and we can't forget the ICE CREAM, which was a very popular choice! Besides the delicious spread, there were exciting party games, cool giveaways, and even an exceptionally talented balloon artist. Special thanks to our "party photographer," Theresa, for all of her help! At UMC, we are so incredibly thankful and blessed to have this one-of-a-kind group of teammates who brighten the days of so many. THANK YOU!

We had a great time connecting with so many wonderful individuals from the healthcare industry at today's Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey Health Forum. It was such an awesome experience to hear from the presidents of Jefferson Health-East, AtlantiCare, Inspira Health, and Virtua Health and join in on a powerful conversation on the evolving healthcare landscape in South Jersey. The Forum also included an engaging panel discussion from some of NJ's most influential Healthcare Association leaders and a special closing address from NJ Department of Health Commissioner, Kaitlan Baston. UMC looks forward to continuing to support these great healthcare providers and their initiatives for NJ seniors everywhere!
