CTO of Siemens Healthineers. Curious and passionate future shaper. Pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare. For everyone. Everywhere. Sustainably.
I’m happy to announce that I’ll be on stage with two very important partners in crime, Arlene and Carlos, at the HLTH Europe 2025. We’ll be talking about the impact of artificial intelligence on improving stroke care. Together we’re running UMBRELLA_IHI, a huge multicenter-research project with more than 20 partners and with the support of the European Union and the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI). We aim to revolutionize stroke management through a comprehensive, holistic and patient-centric approach. The solution we are developing will generate actionable and outcome relevant insights. At the heart of the project is the development of the "U-platform", a federated data platform that uses harmonized real-world data to improve stroke diagnosis, risk prediction and decision-making along the entire care pathway using artificial intelligence. The data flow will be based on standardized protocols and digital technologies. This way we’ll empower physicians to leverage the patient longitudinal data and sustainably improve value streams along the clinical workflow. See you in Amsterdam! Together we’re looking forward to talking about the boldest project in the European innovation health ecosystem. Of course, we’ll be sharing its progress and we’ll be discussing the future of stroke management. #ArtificialIntelligence #DataAnalytics #EuropeanHealthDataSpace #EHDS #FederatedLearning #FederatedValidation #Healthcare #Innovation #Neurology #UMBRELLA
