On March 19, the UMassD Career Center were thrilled to welcome Brown University Health for an on-site recruiting event in partnership with the College of nursing College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Students had the opportunity to meet with representatives from one of Rhode Island’s leading non-profit health systems to learn more about job opportunities across their network of hospitals and healthcare facilities. ?? That’s why we love Forage—a free, online platform that allows students to complete virtual job simulations designed by leading companies. ?? Shoutout to Rakesh Kumar who recently completed the Accenture North America Data Analytics and Visualization simulation! In this experience, they took on the role of a Data Analyst, working through real-world business challenges, including: ?? Data Cleaning & Analysis – Organizing and analyzing seven datasets to extract valuable insights. ?? Strategic Decision Making – Using data to guide a client’s content strategy. ?? Business Communication – Creating a PowerPoint deck and recording a presentation to deliver insights effectively.
