It is bittersweet to write this post to you all and I am sorry I could not tell many of you this news in person, but this will be my last full semester at UMB---I will be headed to a new position and a new job starting in August that allows me to move closer to home, closer to my family. Please know it has been an honor to help build and be a part of the SLA program. Through my time at UMB I have been a part of so many amazing student-centered opportunities and watching each of you grow and develop in this major has been a gift. If you are a graduating senior, I look forward to seeing you on the virtual zoom tomorrow and/or giving you a hug Thursday at graduation. Looking forward to continuing to watch each of you achieve and conquer your goals inside and outside of SLA from afar. Not goodbye. See you later ??
