And a little behind the scenes from our trip to the State Capitol from board member Ted Miller. ??

Impactful trip to Tallahassee yesterday to visit our State Senators and Representatives to advocate for CARD and the 70K families the network supports statewide, including 18K+ families here in South Florida. From early diagnosis and outreach to adult transition services and employment, each conversation with enriching and hopeful. Thank you for meeting with us, and for your on-going support, Sen. Alexis Calatayud, Sen. Ana Maria Rodriguez, Sen. Shevrin Jones, M.Ed, Sen. Jason Pizzo, Sen. Ileana Garcia, Rep. Robin Bartleman, and Rep. Michael Gottlieb. It was also great to meet the staff of so many more of our elected officials. Thank you to the all-star team of CARD leadership, board members, and self advocates for making the trip and representing us proudly.
