We had an incredible day hosting the crew from the USS Constitution, the world's oldest commissioned naval warship still sailing. Known as Old Ironside, she was one of six original frigates. Today, her crew of 75 promote the Navy's mission through education, historical demonstrations and public events as part of the Naval History and Heritage Command. Our facility tour offered an in-depth look into our portfolio, reflecting the same perseverance and commitment that has kept Old Ironside afloat since 1797. Last week, we were delighted to welcome crew members from the HMCS Ville de Quebec at our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, site. A chance to showcase our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility responsible for delivering upgraded towed arrays for the Halifax Class frigates via the Underwater Warfare Suite Upgrade (UWSU) project. Our Dartmouth location is the heart of towed array proficiency at Ultra Maritime, undertaking all facets of research, development, design, production and repair. Ultra Maritime has been awarded a $99 million sole source contract for the AN/SSQ-53H sonobuoys for the U.S. Navy in support of annual training, peacetime operations and testing expenditures, as well as to maintain sufficient inventory to support the execution of major combat operations based on naval munitions requirements. Recently, Ultra Maritime engineers Angus Roberts and Robert O'Brien, had the exciting opportunity to support the British Women's and Youth America's Cup teams in Barcelona. During the three-week placement, our engineers played a key role in the re-build and recommissioning of one of the racing yachts. This experience not only enhanced technical skills, but also provided valuable insights that will benefit future Ultra Maritime projects.
