Tricon is excited to offer Ultra Tech’s Ultra 600 abrasion-resistant pipes and high-pressure couplings. Ultra 600 is produced with a specific chemistry and proprietary induction-hardened technology to create the ideal pipe profile for abrasive applications. The 600 BHN inner wall is highly resistant to abrasion found in mines, foundries, quarries and pulp & paper operations. The hardness tapers to 250 BHN on the outer wall to allow for easier handling and field welding with proper procedures. Ultra 600 systems require less maintenance downtime, reduce exposure hours and increase productivity. Operations also realize reduced costs for transport and disposal.
