?? Women’s History Month Spotlight: Ann Marrott ??
We are kicking off our Women's History Month series, and we are proudly highlighting Dr. Ann Marrott, Vice President Emerita of SUNY Ulster.
From student to senior leader, Ann has dedicated her career to transforming lives through education. A proud SUNY Ulster alum, she went on to earn degrees from Syracuse University, Iowa State University, and later, her Ed.D. in Executive Leadership while working full-time.
Ann’s 28-year career at SUNY Ulster included roles as Director of Marketing & Public Relations, Associate Dean, Dean, Vice President, and Senior Vice President of Enrollment Management & Student Services. Her leadership helped shape student success initiatives, enrollment strategies, and support services that continue to impact the college today.
Recognized with the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence, Ann's dedication to education extends beyond SUNY Ulster—she is now a member of The Registry for Interim Higher Education Executive Leadership, has her consulting practice, is an advisor with Summit Academic Leadership Advisors, and is an active peer evaluator with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
This spring, Ann returns to teach Leadership to Ulster County officials as part of SUNY Ulster’s Leadership Microcredential program, continuing her mission to develop the next generation of leaders.
Join us in celebrating Ann’s remarkable journey and contributions! ??
