Established in 1936, ULI is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit research and education organization supported by over 30,000 members across the globe and 1,600 here in the Greater Los Angeles area. As a nonpartisan organization, the Urban Land Institute has long been recognized as one of America’s most respected and widely quoted sources of objective information on urban planning, growth, and development.

Members of the Urban Land Institute in the counties of Los Angeles, Ventura, Kern, San Luis Obispo, and Santa Barbara are automatically members of ULI Los Angeles.
