Our Mission is to improve prevention and treatment of infections for the Louisville community by changing the practice of prevention care through interdisciplinary research, providing training that will close the translational gap from Research to Patient Care, and achieving equity in health services for all people in our community. Our Science is grounded in Infectious Diseases, Epidemiology, and Infection Control and Prevention, creating a foundation of proven expertise to address critical problems in our community and improve overall health. Our Impact transforms preventative care practices and treatments for all infectious disease through laboratory, clinical, and epidemiological point-of-care services.
