Uptivity Meets Atlanta! We're excited to share that our founder, Muhammad Ali, represented Uptivity at Venture Atlanta Conference as part of the UK Trade Mission!??????????? Organised by the British Consulate-General, Atlanta and led by Hanna Yu, the Senior Trade and Investment Officer in Atlanta, the mission brought together top UK tech startups and businesses to explore growth opportunities in the US. Muhammad connected with key organisations like the Metro Atlanta Chamber, Invest Atlanta, and the Technology Association of Georgia, helping Uptivity to evaluate and prepare for potential expansion into the US market. Reflecting on the mission, Muhammad said, "People on the ground always help me connect to people that I otherwise wouldn't meet. We closed some of our large enterprise deals in the rest of the world by using kind of this type of framework." It was an amazing evening hearing updates from Rachel and speakers: Ed Haines, BABC President; Stefan Harrigan with the Metro Atlanta Chamber; Hannah Kendrick & Naveen Pogula with Squire Patton & Boggs; Simon Boardman, BABC Board Member; and Hanna Yu who led and organized the Tech Trade Mission. How is FIFA working to ensure stadium safety at FIFA Club World Cup 2025? and FIFA World Cup 2026?? ?? Last week, the first Safety and Security Information workshop for the two upcoming tournaments took place in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States to discuss topics such as crowd management, emergency planning and supporter liaison engagement and support. Anti-discrimination risk assessment and monitoring for racism, homophobia and other forms of discrimination was also discussed, with FIFA Senior Diversity and Anti-Discrimination Manager Gerd Dembowski giving a presentation on how FIFA’s protective measures against discrimination will help to ensure stadiums are safe and welcoming to everyone. Dembowski said: "It was critical to roll out how solutions related to anti-discrimination will cross-cut with the safety and security set-up for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025? and FIFA World Cup 2026?. We are happy to offer FIFA‘s expertise and intelligence to the stadium security and local authorities to guarantee that these tournaments will be the most inclusive ever.“

It was so great to welcome such a strong delegation of tech companies from the UK on a Department for Business and Trade trade mission to Atlanta this week.? ?
