Thanks for sharing all you got to do with Lexington's March Madness this past weekend. Reagan, that is great experience and will be wonderful on your resume. Go Cats! #marchmadness
University of Kentucky Athletics Student Intern | Undergraduate Student at the University of Kentucky
Thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with the Equipment Operations Department for the first two rounds of this year’s Men’s March Madness in Lexington this past weekend! Being behind the scenes at such a high-level tournament gave me valuable hands-on experience in game-day operations, team logistics, and the fast-paced environment of college basketball. It was incredible to see the preparation and teamwork that goes into making an event of this magnitude run smoothly! Grateful for the opportunity and for everyone I worked alongside throughout the weekend. Excited to continue learning and growing in the sports industry. #marchmadness

Congrats Ava Bumgarner. We love seeing our students put their education to work in the real world. Sounds like a huge success and thanks for sharing the details. Also thanks to our wonderful partner Commerce Lexington Inc.
The 2025 EMERGE Conference was a success! I have been working behind the scenes of this event since January—designing social graphics, email campaigns, booklet covers, blogs and more. I am so grateful to have been able to attend this year and network with some of Central Kentucky’s notable emerging leaders. As a young professional, being able to sit in on breakout sessions and listen to the wise words of Coach Matthew Mitchell, as he gave tips on how preparation fuels success among other noteworthy points that resonate no matter the stage of leadership. Thank you to everyone at Commerce Lexington Inc. for giving me the opportunity to work on and attend this amazing event. Shoutout to Mahan MultiMedia for the photos and headshots! Here’s to continuing the growth of the Bluegrass Region and beyond!
